My name is Chic Kelly; I would thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to assist you with your learning. As a way of introduction, I would like to explain a little bit about my background, my interests, and of my life story. I am 45 years old. I grew up in Norristown Pennsylvania. I attended high school at Malvern Preparatory School, where I played hockey for four years. I entered college in September of 1988 at Merrimack College in Andover Massachusetts. Eleven weeks later I broke my neck in a hockey accident. After spending about eight months in the hospital I returned home. I transferred to Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia PA. With the help of family and friends I graduated in 1993 with a degree in economics and philosophy. I began teaching theology at Malvern Prep in the fall of 1994. A year later I started study for my MBA. I graduated from Villanova University In 2001 with my MBA in finance. I have been teaching at Saint Joseph’s University as an adjunct professor of economics since 2002. I also teach at Montgomery county community college and for Peirce College. I still teach fulltime at Malvern and now teach economics as well as theology. Besides teaching, I'm an avid sports fan. I have season tickets to the Philadelphia Eagles; I attend about ten Phillies' games a year and watch several hundred sporting events on TV annually. I also have season's tickets to St Joe's basketball. Beyond sports I enjoyed the jersey shore, music and time with friends. Even with a valiant effort, students find it difficult to grasp the challenging concepts at times. Therefore, I find the personal interaction of tutoring to be rewarding when students are made more comfortable with the material and build confidence in the subject matter.
