As a chemistry tutor, I want to share with all my students the wonder that the subject can bring. In the last 11 years as a researcher and student, my passion for the subject has increased. I enjoy not only the interactive nature of chemistry class and lab, but also the foundational elements and principles of the science. When I see how the subject is relevant in regards to all of nature and life, I see the world with new eyes. This knowledge, deepened through years of study, has allowed me to see the beauty of the world in simple things like walking through a forest to baking delicious cookies. In all things, chemistry is at work. Chemical reactions govern almost everything from the cells in our bodies to planets in the universe. Similarly, chemistry has opened up the door to understanding biology of cellular processes and life itself. I hope everyone can have an understanding of this important subject. I studied chemistry at UC Berkeley, and I tutor chemistry exclusively. For fun, I like to play volleyball, swim, and read.
